Hand-traced Coloring Sheets of Four of Friedrich’s Paintings

I created more coloring pages for you! I chose Caspar David Friedrich for your students to study, as his works are deep and should give your students much to think about, and will hopefully spark discussions. Friedrich created many stunning pieces and is well worth studying in your homeschool’s art study.

my favorite Of Friedrich’s works of art is the one of his wife. it’s called “Woman at the Window”

This painting of Friedrich’s wife is my favorite of his. His wife is at the window, looking out at the ships in the bay.

I hand-traced the painting to create a coloring page. I think the parents may enjoy coloring it in as much as any age of children.

this download includes 4 works of art and 4 coloring pages

The works included are:

  • Woman at the Window
  • Wanderer Above a Sea of Fog
  • Cross in the Mountains
  • On a Sailing Ship

The coloring pages look like the one below. We prefer using colored pencils for coloring ours.

How to access the downloads

You’ll input your name (any) and email address into the form to access the downloads. If you’re already subscribed to the Freely Educate newsletter, it won’t create a duplicate. But if not, you’ll be subscribed. I send out newsletters infrequently, usually only to let you know the latest printables I’ve created for you.

Balancing Homeschooling while Working From Home

At times, well-intentioned advice suggests that dedicating an entire day to homeschooling leaves no room for a job during regular hours. This is not necessarily so. My husband and I owned a garden center for a few years while also homeschooling. After that, I had an online business while homeschooling. We did not “only work … Read More about Balancing Homeschooling and Working From Home – a Realistic Approach

making the transition from public school to homeschool

We did what you’re doing, or thinking about doing. Our eldest two went to public school in our little town, and it was just fine, we didn’t have any problems, but I missed them. Also, it was a hassle packing up the baby and toddler to commute the school kids from two different school locations, … Read More about Going from Public School to Home School? Here’s My Advice
