Today, I did some research on free testing prep for our teenagers, and thought I would share what I found with you. It’s a bit difficult to locate free testing prep, but I did find some! I also found free practice exams for both the ACT and the SAT exams.
SAT EXAM: FREE sAT TEST Preparation
In our area, the SAT is not what is common, but if you’re in an area where it is, you’re one of the lucky ones since the SAT is taught by the popular Khan Academy. Khan Academy teamed up with the College Board to create a plan, 8 full length practice exams, and a lot of practices to work through.

WHY WOULD A HOMESCHOOLER TAKE THE ACT OR SAT EXAM?
We prefer learning naturally and creatively in our home, but as part of our desire to leave no doors closed, our children take the SAT or ACT exam before graduating our homeschool. The oldest two opted to take it again to improve their scores before entering college. Do let your student know that’s an option – they do not have to tell anyone their score, and they are very welcome to retake it.
