free online quiz maker and flashcard generator

Another homeschooling mom sent me a quiz maker and flashcard generator where you’re able to make your own quizzes and flashcards. There are also quizzes and flashcards already available to use. And it’s all free.  The homeschooling mom who recommended this resource to us wrote,

” I found another GREAT free web site called Quizlet. It is amazing! Quizlet has everything from Fry’s sight words, to SAT vocabulary drills,  to capitals and states, to Apologia Physical Science Ch 8, to Spanish and Greek and on and on.  It provides vocabulary drills, quizzes and games to practice vocabulary in all subjects.  My son is studying  the constitution.  I found tons of constitution vocabulary drills and even a constitution quiz with 60 facts for him to review which he learned in 10 minutes and it was a great pre reading  prep before he read the constitution.  It was a great prep for the reading!”

There are 4 ways to use Quizlet and its app:

  • make your own flashcards and quizzes
  • view the flashcards and quizzes that others have made
  • play Quizlet Live with others
  • create diagrams of things you need to study (like maps or anatomy)

Here is another online quiz maker and flashcard generator that I’ve reviewed:

Create your own quizzes for math, vocabulary and geography

How great is this! I’ve wanted to make quizzes for our history and science for a couple months now, but don’t find the time.

Thanks for the share! gFlashcards is very good alternative to quizlet. I use it for my art classes.

Freely Educate is written for those, like our family, who don't want the box. There are many places for "box-thinkers" to go. This place is for those who think outside the box. I hope to give you affirmation and advice on bravely choosing to educate creatively and individually. - Lori Seaborg
