I found a site offering free math worksheets. It is not a pretty, modern site, but the worksheets are actually very good!
I’ve printed them off for my own homeschooled children, as supplements to their curriculum, or for times when I need them to be productively busy and they’re not thinking of something to do on their own. These math worksheets aren’t a punishment, though. They’ve started many discussions with the entire family involved, as we try to help the one completing the worksheet.
How to get the free math worksheets:
As I mentioned, the site is a bit clunky, so before I give you the links to the free math worksheets for each grade (below), here is how to access them:
- If you’re looking for 1st grade math worksheets, for example, go to this page. On the left side you’ll see a column of skills.
- Click on a skill, for example: 1A, Identify Numbers 1-5 (you’ll click on the highlighted 1A)
- Click Worksheet at the top of the Skill 1A page, and you’ll have a nice, ad-free worksheet to print out.
Here are the free math worksheets:
- Grade 1 Math Worksheets
- Grade 2 Math Worksheets
- Grade 3 Math Worksheets
- Grade 4 Math Worksheets
- Grade 5 Math Worksheets
Want to use a classical math curriculum instead?
Last month, I edited and uploaded a Free Classical Math Curriculum, Ray’s Arithmetic. It was a very popular math curriculum in the 19th century, and is used by many homeschoolers today.
