Houghton-Mifflin, a textbook publisher, offers free spelling and vocabulary activities and games to be used with their textbooks or independently of them. You may choose a grade level, from 1st through 6th, for each of the activities.

I also loved the Wacky Web Tales (think MadLibs). I found the above games excellent for helping our son, who is 10 and newly in the US and an ELL student.”
