A homeschooling mom created a geography curriculum, Around the World in 28 Weeks, for her small co-op of 4-6 year-old students. The lessons are especially focused on geography, culture, art and literature, and are divided into 28 weeks: a different country or region for each week.
Each lesson includes a .pdf map, worksheets to print off, recipe or craft projects, and links to books and other resources.
Though every country cannot be represented in such a short curriculum, you could easily add other countries by using these lesson plans as an example from which to plan (I would add my favorite Pacific island, Papua New Guinea!).
