Letter of the Week is a preschool reading curriculum that I used with our own little one. She’s now 13 years old! The curriculum hasn’t changed much in the past several years, but it is still just as valuable as it ever was.
There is more than Letter of the Week now, beginning with lesson plans for newborn babies , and lesson plans for older babies!
Preparatory Curriculum is a 26-week curriculum created especially for toddlers, around 2-4 years old. Since little ones are busy and unpredictable (!), the curriculum is very adaptable to your child.
Letter of the Week is a 38-week curriculum for teaching preschoolers their alphabet and its sounds. This curriculum was created for children around ages 2-5. Scroll down on the Letter of the Week page, and you’ll see all of the letters of the alphabet. Click on one, “A” for example, and you’ll find poems, math suggestions, even field trip suggestions – all related to the letter “A.” Also included are scheduling ideas.
Sound of the Week is a 36-week curriculum for Kindergarteners, around ages 3-6, to be started after Letter of the Week, or when your child is familiar with letter recognition. It was created for ages 3-6.
On the home page, you can view all of the baby, toddler, and curriculum lesson plans in the left sidebar.
Thanks for this link. I had that site bookmarked, but hadn’t had Lydia go to it yet. I think we’ll do that today!
Awesome, Teresa, glad the timing was good! I hope Lydia enjoys it.
Thank you for this link, my daughter spent half the day on that site yesterday. She loves it.
Oh, how fun! Thanks so much for sharing your feedback. ~ Lori
Hey I just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your posts as much as anyone else and I am a 16 year old young lady in 11th grade! I love being home schooled and plan on homeschooling my future kids.
I have a binder of organized planning, in which one section is titled “Future Classroom”. There I write down neat ideas for cheap (or better yet, free!) resources for homeschooling.
Thanks for being my #1 resource for my future family’s schooling.
Sincerely,
Mandy
Mandy, Thank you so much for your note! You are one of the wisest young ladies I've heard of, planning ahead like you are. It will save you so much time and frustration in the years ahead. Thanks for today's smile! 😉

Great find! Thank you so much. It is amazing how much free stuff is out there, isn’t it?
It's CRAZY how much is free. I have a hard time keeping up with it. I can't wait to see what else becomes free over the years. There are many people working hard to make knowledge free to anyone.
That is so great to hear. A quality education should be available to everyone. Again I am so happy to have found your site. Thank you so much!
I agree!
