There are days – or moments within days – when worksheets are a help to a homeschooling parent. Today, I handed four worksheets to our 11yo at a time when she wasn’t making the best choices after I asked her to be productively busy. She could have crocheted or painted, but she instead chose to twirl in a chair, fussing (and fussing) about wanting the iPad. So, I simply, calmly, quietly (unusually) said, “Here you go, fill these out,” and handed her four worksheets.
That situation made me think of you, and how you might like to have some worksheets, too. K-12 Reader has created worksheets for grades Kindergarten through 10th grade. The worksheets are on the subjects of: vocabulary, grammar, spelling, reading, and composition.
These aren’t just worksheets, but some of them come with lesson plans that cover 36 weeks. For example, the Spelling worksheets span 36 weeks and are best combined with the Vocabulary worksheets.
