Teaching Practical Skills? Here’s a FREE Year-Long Block of the Month Quilting Course!

practical skills

10 Jan

In our little homeschool, learning practical skills is just as important as learning academics.  Craftsy, a popular practical learning site, has just released a new free quilting course.  This quilting course is 100% free and ongoing throughout the year.   The course is taught monthly by expert quilter, Laura Nownes, through video tutorials.

Online Quilting Class

Students are able to view the tutorials at any time (they are about 30 minutes long) and as often as you like.  Students are able to interact with other students and ask the instructor questions. At the end of the course,  you will have created a full size, unique quilt!

How to Get this Free Quilting Course:  Visit Craftsy for the ongoing free quilting class.

Click “Free, Sign Up!”  in the upper right of the main banner.

Freely Educate is written for those, like our family, who don't want the box. There are many places for "box-thinkers" to go. This place is for those who think outside the box. I hope to give you affirmation and advice on bravely choosing to educate creatively and individually. - Lori Seaborg
