Exclusive! Cash4Books is Giving FreelyEducate.com Readers a 10% Bonus When You Sell Books to Them

23 Nov

This one is not only a freebie, but a way to make money!  Cash4Books is a headache-free way to get extra books out the door, and a little cash in the bank.  They'll pay you cash for the books and you even get free shipping! They don't accept just any book, but this is one option for selling your textbooks & other curriculum.

Cash4books

Personal Experience:  My brother sold one of his college textbooks through Cash4Books this summer.  He didn't receive as much as he paid for the book, certainly, but he had cash in the bank for a book he no longer wanted.  I have also received several checks in the mail from them.

Cash4Books gave me an exclusive bonus code for you!  Through December 9th, if you sell any books to them, use bonus code: fenvbr to receive an extra 10%.  Here's an example from my Cash4Books cart (click to view larger):

Cash4booksbonusIn that example, Cash4Books offered to pay $35.77 for the textook + 10% Freely Educate bonus of $3.58 = $39.35 mailed to me via check. No shipping costs are incurred, if you use their provided mailing label.

How to See if Cash4Books will purchase your books:

  1. Visit Cash4Books  & become a member, if you aren't one yet
  2. Enter the ISBN of books you want to sell
  3. They'll let you know if they'd like to purchase the books from you, and they'll let you know what price they are willing to pay.
  4. Agree to sell the books, then enter the bonus code:  fenvbr to get 10% more from Cash4Books.
  5. Print out your free shipping label and mail the book/s.

Expiration:  The 10% bonus will expire December 9, 2011.  $50 maximum bonus, limit one per customer (you can use the code on multiple books, but you'll need to use it on one session, so sell all of your books at once!)

I never knew about this site, but this is a pretty great deal! It’s a TON less hassle than trying to figure out how to post them on a auction site and ship them out!

Thanks for that suggestion! Cash 4 Books doesn't seem to pay much…is that the problem? You reminded me to write that promised article on my favorite way to sell my books.

      Lori,
Thank you so much for this reminder post. After my husband lost his job about a year ago due to health reasons, people have been donating items to us. While we wait for disability to be approved we have been having yard sales in order for us to pay rent and utilities. I had read a similar post a while ago, but at the time didn’t ‘need’ it. NOW…winter is upon us and not too many yard sale days are left. I have TONS of books and I look forward to prayerfully selling them to Cash4books.
Thanks again for this exciting post, right when I needed it.
      Kim

Thank you for writing, Kimberly.  We've been in the same tough spot. 🙁  Another great way to sell books is through Amazon. I need to write about that soon! ~ Lori
