free american presidents poster from c-span classroom

Have you heard of C-SPAN Classroom yet?  It’s full of resources for social studies and history teachers (and homeschoolers & parents).  They have a lot to offer virtually on their site.

Here is what the site creators say about C-SPAN Classroom:

C-SPAN Classroom is a free membership service for social studies teachers. Our mission is to enhance the teaching of social studies through C-SPAN’s primary source programming and websites.

Membership [free, homeschoolers welcome] gives educators access to their own library to store C-SPAN Classroom videos and video clips, supplementary materials such as lesson plans and handouts, and special offers like our American Presidents Timeline poster.

How to Access C-SPAN Classroom:  Go to C-SPAN Classroom to browse and complete a free membership form.

The only down side is the stream of mail that C-SPAN sends after you order something from them 🙁

It's big and informative.  Our 12yo (girl) said it's uglier than the endangered species posters we had up, so I told her we'd take the prez poster down as soon as she could name all presidents in order

I got this months ago. If they are still offering it, then this is not a limited offer. It has been going on now for about a year…:)

Yep, it's still ongoing! I don't think there is a rush to order, either.  Since they'll eventually run out (who knows, maybe next presidential election), I'll keep it as a limited time offer so future readers will know this may be expired when they find this post in the archives.

Just signed up to receive one. Yay!
Curious about the Presidential Timeline Poster. Is that still available? We are studying the Presidents this year & it would be awesome to have that along with the electoral one.
    Thanks!

Just to let you know, I just signed up with the C-SPAN teacher, and the last window asked if I wanted the Election Poster. Thought others might want to know that. Thanks for letting me know about this. We have been following the primaries and now we will have something to use for the election.

The comments above are about a free 6′ presidential timeline poster that C-SPAN mailed to many people in 2011-2012. That deal has sadly (but understandable) run out. – 2017, Lori
