Giveaway: Take Your Family Fishing! (Free Bait for ALL!) (closed)

giveaways

3 Sep

I have two reasons for you to enter today's sponsored giveaway:  The fish are still biting and everyone wins image from www.flickr.comsomething for free!   Let's take our eager students fishing outdoors, where the science textbook comes alive.

Don't fish? It's easy when you have the right equipment:  a pole, a kid, a bit of advice and some bait.  Winner Bait, a family-owned business based in Mississippi, can help with the latter two:  they offer free advice from one fishing parent to another, and they also package bait that is easy and convenient to use.   As the mother of kids (pictured) who want me to "find worms," or "go buy smelly shrimp," I appreciate Winner Bait's small, resealable bags of fresh and easy-to-use bait that don't have to be refrigerated.

Because of the size and style of packaging, our most avid fisherman, age 10, can keep a few bags in his tackle box, convenient for whenever he gets the urge to fish with something a little more substantial than bread.  (Tip from Winner Bait:  take along a lemon, lime, or grapefruit to help get the smell off your hands.)

image from www.flickr.com We have TWO Giveaways!

The 1st Giveaway is for ALL of you.  Winner Bait Company wants to send FREE bait to ALL of us!  They will mail you a full sized package of your choice (value: $3.99, shipped free), after you simply go to the Free Bait page and sign up for their newsletter (it's spam-free, emailed once a month, and you can always unsubscribe later).

The 2nd Giveaway is for ONE lucky winner.  One of you will win this package of fishing goodies:

Logo Revised 8-25-07

Fishing

CAT ATTACK! ($45 Value)

  • (1) Cat'n 6-Pack (3 Liver, 2 Hearts & 1 Squid) packages of bait
  • (1) 8-pack Eagle Claw no.3 circle hooks
  • (2) Slip Floats
  • (1) Winner Bait Logo Ball Cap

It's easy to enter! You may comment (and enter) through any or all of these entry methods:

  1. Leave a comment, saying you want to go fishing. That's easy!
  2. Tweet this giveaway with @freelyeducate in the tweet.
  3. Join the Freely Educate Facebook page or  click "Like" at the bottom of this post.  Comment to let us know you did that.
  4. Blog this giveaway, then come back and give us the link so we can visit your blog, too.

Only one entry per method. Please post your entries separately. Random.org will select the winner. The winning entry will be verified.  Only the winner's mailing address will be shared with Winner Bait. Open to U.S. addresses only.

Entry deadline: Saturday, September 11th, at noon CST.

Tjhis giveaway is now closed, but you can still get the free bait by visiting Winner's Bait, for as long as the offer stands.

This would be so much fun to use – perhaps just the incentive we need to dust off our poles and drop a line in the water. It’s been awhile =)
