The 7-part course is made up of modules.  Each module can be taken as its own course, apart from the others.  The modules are:

Virtualmodules
NASA writes, "In each of the six content Modules (not including Aviation Research), your students will acquire and employ decision-making and collaborative skills while applying principles of algebra, geometry and calculus. The science portion of these cross-curricular materials includes concepts involved in RADAR, sound and meteorology as it applies to flight. Each section includes on-line activities complemented by downloadable print materials (PDF files) that can be used in the classroom to supplement the geography, mathematics and science concepts."

I’ll be sharing this website with a friend, of a former Air Force family! Thanks !
I don’t remember, Lori, if I already have sent you these two related websites, suitable for students younger than the high school level: http://www.avkids.com/ and http://wings.avkids.com/

Wow – that is awesome! My oldest is dead set on being a jet pilot – even at his age (8) this will be so interesting for him!

Heather, Look for a Young Eagles group in your area.  Our children, ages 9 and up, were able to go on their first flights recently for FREE from our tiny local airport. They flew in little Cessnas, piloted by mostly retired Air Force guys.  It was a wonderful experience.  The flights are not publicized well (in our area, anyway), so do give it a bit of research before giving up.  Here's a start:  http://www.youngeagles.org/programs/youngeagles/
